Business Development Lead

Position Summary:
Connesso is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Lead to drive growth, build new partnerships, and strengthen existing relationships in a B2B capacity. This role involves extensive networking with key stakeholders in the residential home construction and low voltage industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, well-versed in sales, marketing, and networking, and possess a deep understanding of business management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Outside Sales & Networking: Generate new business opportunities by establishing and cultivating relationships within the B2B residential construction and low voltage sectors. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to grow the company's client base.
Sales & Marketing: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored sales presentations and marketing materials. Present potential partners with Connesso partner incentive materials
Industry Expertise: Leverage knowledge of residential home construction and the low voltage industry to advise clients/partners and build credibility. Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Proven experience in sales, marketing, and networking, ideally in a B2B or outside sales capacity. Familiarity with the residential home construction and low voltage industry is a must. Strong comprehension of business management & partnership practices and terminology.
Education: Business degree preferred but not required depending on relevant industry experience.

Strong communication and social skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
